thanks for all the...
Gratitude, I have learned, does not come naturally. However, I have had it drilled into me from birth. Every Christmas and birthday I had to write thank-you cards, pre-meal prayers always started with "thank you Jesus for the food", manners were not an option in my home and I can still hear my granfather praying: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to Thee to thank Thee that Thou hast been with us" I have had so many lessons in giving thanks as I was growing up and I believe that it has worked somewhat. But even with all of these lessons and examples I'm still not very grateful for all that I have, not like I should be. I could list it all but I won't. Too bad we have to make a special day for giving thanks when it should be a way of life. But I like the pie, so I won't complain :) Happy Thanksgiving!!!
